How Does It Work?

Q: Do you bill insurance?

A: Mental health therapy is a covered service under most insurance plans.  Our therapists are in-network with Anthem EAP, Anthem BCBS, IU Health, Aetna, United Healthcare, and CareSource Marketplace.  The best way to find out if we are in-network with your specific plan is to contact your insurance provider directly.  Massage therapy, nutrition counseling, and personal training are self-pay services.

Q: I don't want to bill my insurance, can I pay out-of-pocket for therapy?

A: There are several reasons you may wish to bypass insurance billing and we're happy to offer self-pay rates.  Unfortunately, we do not offer sliding-scale options at this time.

Q: Are your facilities ADA compliant?

A: Our premises include automatic exterior door entry with no stairs and first floor entry to suite.  We are also happy to provide an ADA compliant massage table.  Additionally, our therapists, dietitians, and personal trainer are all available via telehealth (individual plan participation varies).

Q: What can I expect at my first therapy appointment?

A: The first session involves a complete biopsychosocial assessment with a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.  During that 60 minute session, you will learn about the counseling process, have your questions answered, and provide information about your history and your current stressors.  That provides the framework for developing a unique treatment plan for you!  Treatment plans can be brief therapeutic interventions to address one specific issue, or can provide you with longer-term therapeutic support.  

Q: Why do I have to keep a credit card on file?

A: We safely maintain your credit card information in order to make the payment process as easy as possible.  We can bill for your session and provide you a receipt immediately.  Payments for co-pays and deductibles at time of service.  Your card will be charged for any appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.  Late cancellation and no-show fees are assessed, as maintaining our scheduled time allows us to help as many people as possible.
